30/9/26 ⭐️Like and share⭐️ Engagement within the local community with Volunteer Day with Downe House girls was fantastic. The residents loved having the girls visit and in the morning made Christmas cards together (which will be able to be bought end of October we will be selling Christmas cards made by the residents) and the afternoon was spent with the residents supervising the girls giving out garden benches a make over!
An enjoyable day for all , thankyou to all staff who were involved and Downe House School for your willing volunteers.

Staff experienced some in depth fire Marshall training today and the weather was perfect for some outdoor practice

26/8/26 🎉National dog day 🎉was celebrated with family and friends bringing in there pet pooches as well as resident Sophie star of the show with residents this week

25/8/26 🎉Beatles week🎉 Celebrations include listening to some classics in communal areas and reminiscing on favourite songs.

A huge thankyou to a local gentleman who donated his time to bring this 1960s tractor along for one of our residents who is a great tractor fan!

🦉 A Wonderful Visit from Berkshire Birds of Prey! 🦅

our residents enjoyed a truly special experience with a visit from Berkshire Birds of Prey. They had the opportunity to meet a variety of beautiful owls up close, learning fascinating facts about these incredible birds while enjoying gentle interaction and plenty of smiles.

The visit sparked wonderful conversations, memories, and moments of joy throughout the home. It was lovely to see so many residents engaging with the birds and sharing such a unique experience together.

A huge thank you to Berkshire Birds of Prey for bringing these magnificent creatures to visit us and creating such a memorable day for everyone. 💚

5/6/26 ⭐️Like and share⭐️ Berkshire music trust visited this week for an interactive singing workshop which residents throughly enjoyed. singing a variety of songs for all to join in smiles all around!

Broadmead has a lovely garden filled with roses and cottage garden flowers which we are lucky enough to be able to pick and use in our dining room.
